Strife of the Party

By Leonard Pigg

Drinking with the devil, while claiming to be a rebel.
Conformity was her sword and shield, while she demanded everyone keep it real.
She always lied to everyone, confused from all the tales she spun.
Chaos was her bread and butter.Bedlam was her jam.
She wasted so much time weeping over a man.
The man by her side wasn’t good enough, the one at the bar wasn’t hood enough.Never pleased with herself, she lashes out again as a cry for help as she twists in the wind.
Her swagger was a stagger she did with a grin, as she carelessly stumbled into public again.
