Halloween at Disney kicks off in the middle of August. That’s when Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween parties start. Each party is a special ticketed event that begins at 6 PM and goes until midnight. There are special Halloween stage shows, fireworks, and parades. Each event is capped, so the wait lines are not long at all for favorite rides like Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and more. There are many Meet and Greets with characters that don’t usually come out. My favorites are Tarzan and the Genie.
The party, of course, has multiple trick or treat stations. For my family, we loved it because of the allergy-friendly food. Each guest with a food allergy receives a teal bag and are given chips to redeem at the end of the night. They were all able to get multiple bags of treats they could all eat, which is such a relief.
If you’re unable to go to a party, Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Springs are still decorated through the Halloween season, so there are plenty of fun places to take pictures.
