Nine Times the 1950s Won Thanksgiving

1950s Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a Happy Harvest for the Whole Family. Except for those dour pilgrim children. They’re not nearly as happy as all the womenfolk who are magically cooking and carrying things. Someone give those dour pilgrim children a Lucky Strike. No Worry! No Scurry!

I don’t know about you, but I sure do love reaping the rewards of courage and persistence with gratitude and humility…and a carton of smokes and my highest of heels.

In this Thanksgiving season, may the great joys of this festive holiday be yours. And those pilgrim children too, because, what the hell, it’s the holidays.
