The Ten Most Wanted List: September 2017

The Amos staff chooses their ten most wanted items for September, 2017. (Yes, all links lead to Amazon because we are — full disclosure—an Amazon affiliate.) That being said, all items have been curated and chosen by writers and staff of Amos and are genuinely objects we love. If you love them, too, fantastic. We hope you do.

(1)Fire opal sea turtle necklace: not expensive, not rare, just incredibly fetching. (2) Men’s/Unisex “good luck” Swatch watch. If Amos staff were rich, Amos staff would all have hundreds of Swatches. That’s how we roll: stylishly and sometimes in plastic-banded greatness. (3) Cozy warm cable-knit oversized scarf in white/Ivory. Classic, essential. Winter is coming. (4) Many mints just coat your mouth in sugar and mint, which isn’t bad, but these Perugina Glacia mints are the world’s most perfect mints for everything except Christmas: instead of adding sugar and syrup to your mouth, these truly refresh and brighten everything. And, as it turns out, they look beautiful in a dish, if you care about that sort of thing. (5) Secret Hitler: a game that is perfect for any group of humans numbering between 5 and 10 people. Aesthetically perfect, completely satiric, easy to learn and addictive to play. Highly recommended. (6) Vintage-look glass cabinet hardware in Depression-glass-green. Just so appealing. (7) Red rain boots. It’s going to rain and be cold in the fall. These make you want every day to be cold and wet, just so you can wear them. (8) DCT lip balm. Because, again, it’s going to get cold and weather is going to insist on happening. Classic DCT is nearly impossible to find in stores now. Luckily, you can still buy it by the case on Amazon. (9) Harry Pawter t-shirt. Available in 5 different colors for men, women, kids, and baby. Collect them all. Because, seriously, Harry Pawter. (10) TOMY water toy. They still make them and they still are ridiculously cool. And you hipsters need something else awesome to place right next to your Rubik’s cube. This is the thing you didn’t know you needed.
